I located this post over at Wolfish Musings.
I think this may be what's going on with the computer game and the face, and I do vaguely remember reading about this in the past. If this is the reason, it's NOT gender specific. Ah well, I guess the JPost isn't all-knowing.

Would you believe, "both of the above?" There may well be a prohibition on showing the faces of biblical figures of either sex, but I'm also pretty sure that right-wing Orthodox publications do not publish photos of women.
